在（A）中，我介绍了如何注册和购买IPOWER域名的方法。可是IPOWER的域名购买的流程相当繁琐，有的时候近乎难缠！不过人家价格便宜，图个省钱，难缠就难缠吧。闲话少说，我现在就谈谈有关收email和正式购买的学问。

在IPOWER下了订单之后，很快你就会收到一封来自order@ipowerweb.com的邮件，邮件名称为：Purchase Confirmation（订单确认）
内容如下
Dear XXXX,
Thank you for your purchase! This message is to inform you that your order has been received and will be processed shortly.
Your account is being processed for $5.90. You will receive an account setup confirmation within the next 24 hours with instructions on how to access your account. If you have any questions regarding this invoice, please feel free to contact us at order@ipower.com. We appreciate your business and look forward to a great relationship!

大意：谢您的定购，我们已经收到了你的订单，并会尽快处理。

域名WHOIS保护
如果你在定购时选择了启用WHOIS保护，那么你降收到来自verification@contactprivacy.com的电子邮件。邮件没有名称，但是包含有保护信息，和相关确认连接。并请按照要求完成启动WHOIS保护。

在收到确认邮件后，我们做的只有等待——等待IPOWER的billing（财务帐单）邮件，IPOWER的Billing（财务）部门可能是世界上最繁忙的billing了。我第一次定购的时候，等了整整1个礼拜都没有收到他们的邮件，于是打电话过去催。IPOWER提供888免费电话和live chat（在线交谈）。不过他们的live chat只是关于技术，不管财务。他们的免费电话只在美国拨打是免费的，从中国打，哪就是按照一般的国际长途来收费了……不过老虎自有办法，嘿嘿，有个软件叫做skype，用它可以拨打美国的8开头的任何免费电话，而且不要钱。IPOWER的billing简直更恐怖，第一次打竟然让我听了40多分钟音乐才接通。和billing通话要注意三点：
1。要在晚上12：00以后拨打：因为IPOWER在美国西部，他们执行的是西部时间，我们的12：00相当于他们的早上9：00，他们的billing8：30上班。
2。要准备好你定购时所使用的信用卡：他们会询问你的信用卡号码的后4位来确认你是定购人。
3。准备好的你域名：因为你要通过电话告诉对方你的域名，E文不好的朋友要注意了。国内很多朋友都是注册的是拼音或者没有任何含义的域名，E文不好的只能Spell拼写了。拼写的时候注意技巧。比如，我在拼读我的域名：naerqu.com的时候，我是这么解释的
N as night，A as america，E as even，R as Radio，Q as quick，U as university 刀 扛母。这样对方就能理解你要的域名了，不会为是B还是D烦恼了。

催完了之后，会信箱收信，估计在催完后的2个小时内收到来自billing@ipowerweb.com的邮件，里面会有如下的内容：

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately we are unable to process your order at this time due to verification. Due to the high number of fraudulent orders we are receiving, we have found it necessary to verify that the legal cardholder has placed the order. To proceed with the activation of your account, please fax a legible copy of the credit card listed on the order (both sides are required; front and back), as well as a copy of the cardholder’s identification (driver’s license, passport etc.). Finally, be sure to note the domain name(s) on the fax for immediate resolution.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please know that these measures are taken to ensure your protection as a consumer. All credit card information provided to iPowerweb is confidential.

信件我就不详细翻译了，大意是：
亲爱的用户，因为网上信用卡欺诈十分的盛行，为了保证您的信用卡不受到侵犯，请复印您的信用卡的正反面并传真给我们，以确定您是持卡人本人。
传真号码：(602) 307-5438也可以扫描信用卡的正反面还有你的ID（也就是你的身份证、护照、驾驶执照之类的身份证明文件）通过email发送到 billing@ipowerweb.com
我是将信用卡复印后，在复印纸上写上 我的姓名（用英文啦），email，还有所定购的域名，然后将信用卡背面的CVV2号码拿笔涂掉（这个很重要，如果你的CVV2代码让别人知道，你的卡就等于是别人的卡了，所以一定要涂掉。扫描的请在扫描前用东西遮挡一下——因为如果你扫描后再用图片处理软件遮盖……这个很容易解决的。然后就是等待开通了。

大概意思就是下面是你的用户名和密码，你用他们可以登陆控制面板，管理域名或者购买其他服务。

You can choose an under construction (park) page and set redirects. The control panel provided is a limited version of the vDeck control panel which is available with web hosting accounts.

II. Domain Administration 域名管理

Your new domain name will be available in 24 to 48 hours. You may
administer your domain, including locking and unlocking, via your vDeck control panel. Administration is controlled using the Domain Name Manager feature found in the Domain Admin section. The Domain Name Manager requires a secondary login for added protection.
大意：你的域名会在24－48小时后生效，你可以通过此处管理你的域名，包括开、锁域名，管理DNS，修改域名注册信息等。

Additionally, you can modify your domain names DNS settings using the Zone File Manager, also found in the Domain Admin section of your vDeck control panel.

下面讲解”Contact Privacy Purchase Verification”

这封信的作用是为了激活你的WHOIS信息保护功能。
因为我们在购买域名的时候都要填写详细的个人资料，有些不法之徒学会了就通过查询域名获得注册人的email，电话等资料来骚扰。所以有的公司就推出了WHOIS信息保护功能。这个功能可以自由选择是关闭还是开启（开启、关闭方法我们在下篇讲解）不过前提是必须先激活。
操作的方法很简单
1。点击信中连接
2。输入域名
3。输入key（激活码）
好了，完事，关闭浏览器
